No idea on the specs/frequencies, cant find it currently on the Netgear Website....

They have released a marketing video, shares nothing new though (https:// I asked in the comments for specs and "Dani" from Telstra 24/7 said it is a ZTE "MF 910". Technical Specifications: 4G LTE 700, 900, 1800, 2100, 2600 MHz up to 150Mbps download3G UMTS 850, 900, 2100 MHz up to 42Mbps download2G GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz up to 384Kbps download Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Note: 2.4 or 5Ghz (not both)External Antenna Dual antenna ports with TS9 connectors.

(I would've thought that a wiki would have accompanying explanatory notes for such terminology).

If someone would like to help me out, what 4G/LTE/Whatever it's called services are being provided for the Latrobe Valley region (160 km east of Melbourne)? There is no 850Mhz for LTE/4G , but as you can see above it can be found on the next line because it is a UMTS/3G frequency.

And that one which runs on the newer lower frequencies (700 Mhz? Or if it does the specs that I read don't indicate this.

This only explains the different frequencies with a lot of meaningless "acronyms".

There are a heap of listings from where this particular one came from.

When you find a likely site perhaps the easiest way is to check the RFNSA EME report pdf.

And getting back to the Wiki there are a number of initials (they're technically not acronyms) which pertain to the various flavors of LTE or 4G.I found the 91 to be an excellent performer when it had access to its two LTE frequencies, but the 910 has a far wider range of frequencies including the planned 700.The whole frequency thing becomes a real pain especially if you use different carriers or travel overseas.I didn't really need to update till late this year but it may be a good time to get one. How does the Netgear 785s compare to the ZTE MF910.The ZTE seems to cover more spectrum such as UMTS 900 and 2G which will be handy while traveling. ZTE has full sim and Netgear microsim(prefer as I can use SIM in my handset) ZTE has built in battery. I am leaning towards the ZTE but how do both brands compare(judging from past modems) in terms of reliability, battery life, signal hold, etc Which is easier to unlock ? There's no harm in asking, or failing that get Google working for you, but make sure that you check out DCUnlocker (this has been a very reliable workhorse for me).

Setting to medium power gave me plenty of range for my domestic use. I chose the Plus over the Ultimate due to the extra frequencies that is offers.
